Today's my first fire performance with Pyroteque! I'm super nervous this morning that I won't be ready so I decided to try and find someone I wanted to emulate on youtube. This performance really showed me that the tricks don't have to be off the wall and crazy if the presence and (pardon the pun) fire is there, which is something I have to remember. Since I haven't gotten as much practice as I'd like with the fire hoop, I've been afraid that my performance won't be up to par. That said, I gotta keep in mind that if I got as much practice as I'd like, I probably wouldn't be doing very well in school or life in general- can't hoop all the time! It's definitely a trade off.
